Job Description

 
Technical Team Lead overseeing and participating with development of complex Web Applications using Agile Methodology

 

Team Projects for delivery

 
1. MVC Web Application development for a new, personalised Intranet Homepage.
2. MVC Web Application development for a new Sales tool to aid Schroders Product teams
3. Migration of SharePoint 2010 to O365 SharePoint Online and MS Teams

 

Key Responsibilities

  •  Act as Technical Lead Developer across two Agile Web Product Development Teams
  • Help to ensure Dev Team Workload is delivered in a timely fashion each Sprint
  • Facilitate Development Backlog estimation
  • Particpate in developing UI/Middleware/Backend components using multiple technoligies as part of the Build
  • Work with O365 Solution Architect to plan and execute tasks required to move Schroders current SharePoint Intranet (SP2010) to O365.
  • This includes re-architecting some complex Server side SharePoint Applications to work with O365/Azure/elsewhere

 

Key Skill Set - Soft Skills

  • Experience Leading a Distributed Development Team (EMEA wide Team and English Speaking)
  • Experience of Agile Development practices
  • Experience of Cloud/O365 Based Development practices (SharePoint Online/2016 especially)
  • Experience working on large scale ASP.NET (MVC) Application Development teams
  • Experience of Test Driven Design methodology (Preferable)

 

Key Skill Set - Technical Skills 

  • Microsoft Development Stack (C#/SQL/Visual Studio/Azure)
  • ASP.NET MVC Development
  • Experience of Client Side scripting languages and Libraries (Javascript, AJAX, Angular/REACT)
  • Experience working with Middleware and Implementing Interfaces (.NET Core, WCF, REST, JSON, ODATA etc.)
  • SharePoint 2010/2013/2016 Architecture, Object Model and APIs
  • SharePoint Online/2016 in Azure development experience
  • SharePoint Framework, Provider Hosted Apps, Client Side Object Model
  • PowerShell Scripting
  • For SharePoint/Azure (Nice to have)
  • O365 Suite Knowledge
  • MS Teams/FLOW/PowerApps/Yammer/Delve/Enterprise Search
  • Umbraco/Episerver (Nice to have)
  • Experience of Oracle solutions (Nice to Have)
